Fairfield Council Release Fees

All fees are to be paid in full at the time of release. Payment may be made by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. Cheques WILL NOT be accepted. Fees are set by the council and cannot be altered by Renbury Farm Animal Shelter. To obtain a discounted registration, suitable documentation must be submitted at the time of release. Please ask our staff what paperwork will be required.

Release fee:            $10.50 per animal

                             $21.00 per animal for second or subsequent release

Maintenance fee:     $19.90 per animal per day (including day in and day out irrespective of times)

For animals not already microchipped and/or registered:-

Microchipping:        $30.00 per animal

Registration fee:       $150.00 for an entire animal

                              $40.00 for a desexed animal

                              $40.00 for an animal owned by a registered breeder

                              $15.00 for a desexed animal owned by an eligible pensioner

NB: The above fees are applicable to dogs and cats only and do not include stock release fees, which can be provided upon request.
